College History

St Patrick’s College has a long and proud history. The Archives are an important record of the existence and past achievements of our College.

Archives can help to maintain a sense of belonging, stability, eternal values and continuity in our lives.

The Collection

The Archives collection includes both paper documents and objects that relate to the history of St Patrick’s College. These include uniforms, school magazines, a large photographic collection, trophies, books, badges and other memorabilia. The paper collection includes press clippings, speeches, reports, letters and committee minutes to name just a few. The Archives also holds a small collection of donated items from Sacred Heart College, St Thomas More’s School and Marian College.

Archives material is not for loan, but interested parties are welcome to consult the material in the Archives room.

*Please note the Archives room is undergoing renovation in 2020/2021 and may not be accessible.  Please contact us for more information.

Donations

Donations of archival materials (including Sacred Heart College, St Thomas More's and Marian College) are most welcome and will be catalogued, preserved and treasured within our collection.
