St Patrick's College Fees
St Patrick’s College is a non-profit organisation with student fees and Government grants used solely for educational purposes.
St Patrick’s College is a non-profit organisation with student fees and Government grants used solely for educational purposes.
The College charges a tuition fee that covers the cost of most planned curriculum and co-curricular based activities from Year 7 to Year 12, spreading the cost of educating a student evenly over the course of their secondary schooling and reducing the need for additional charges or levies. There are, however, some non-compulsory activities that incur additional charges due to their significant cost to the College, for example, rowing and music tuition.
The College Board is committed to the monitoring and administration of a fair and just tuition fee system. Annual fee increases are approved in line with increasing costs to ensure the College can continue to deliver high-quality programs and maintain facilities.
The College offers significant discounts for parents/guardians paying fees for three or more children in Catholic schools. Discounts relating to siblings at Catholic primary schools can only be applied if the sibling information is supplied to the College.
A 5% discount of Tuition Fees is available for full payment of the yearly account by 31 March, calculated on the net value of tuition fees less any sibling discount or scholarships.
The Early Payment Discount does not apply to accounts that have been approved for Fee Assistance or Concession Card Discount.
The Building Fund was introduced to assist the continued development and maintenance of College facilities for the benefit of all students. Contributions are a tax-deductible donation to the College’s registered building fund and we encourage parents/guardians to support this important initiative. To contribute to the Fund, please visit the Payments tab on the Parent Portal or call the College on 03 6341 9988.

Payment options for your convenience:
It is important to maintain open communication and parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to contact either the Business Manager or the Principal if any difficulties arise in relation to account payments. Depending on individual circumstances, fee assistance or a payment plan may be approved.
The College will review overdue accounts on a monthly basis. If accounts are overdue with no agreed payment plan, 5% p.a. interest may be charged.
The College has also engaged the services of a solicitor to assist with the collection of overdue accounts. If there has been no contact with the College regarding an overdue account it may be lodged for collection and will incur a collection fee.
Applications for fee reduction will be considered upon submission of the Fee Assistance Application form, available upon request from the Business Manager. Applications should be made as early as possible in the school year and new applications are required on an annual basis. To obtain a form please email the Business Manager at karen.cole@stpatricks.tas.edu.au or phone 6341 9988.
